Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close Going for the Gold

So a lot of folks have a lot to say about this film and why it could go for the gold. You can read a bit of this and that HERE at The Week. I'm about halfway through my re-reading of the extremely long titled Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close and have to wonder how big a part can Tom Hanks possibly have? Unless the last half of the book is all his because up to now, it's all Oskar and all Grandpa (Max Von Sydow)  and Grandma (Zoe Caldwell). It will be interesting to see how the movie handles the grandparents' relationship and the letters to Oskar from Grandma! An ironic note: Thomas Horn and Zoe Caldwell don't even have their pictures on IMDB!
