The Rum Diary Stars Johnny Depp and Opens Today....And?

I'll be heading off to see The Rum Diary later today. And have absolutely no idea what to expect - except for the fact that Robinson and Depp deleted Yaemon's character which I find really perturbing! The critics seem all over the place but most of them aren't looking at the film in terms of its literary roots. CNN says that "Depp's long-delayed Rum Diary proves worth the wait." While Film School Rejects calls it "Pretty but lifeless".
