LES MIZ: Sascha Baron Cohen cast as Thenardier

Oh wow! Having just seen Sascha Baron Cohen turn in a fabulously nuanced performance as the comic station master in Hugo, I am thrilled with the news that SBC will be the one singing Master of the House in Les Miz! His career is on fire right now - he's set to play Freddy Mercury in the biopic as well as playing "a small but pivotal part" in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained.
Not so thrilling is the news that Glee's Lea Michele - sorry, guys - is the frontrunner for the part of Eponine alongside of Taylor Swift and Scarlett Johansson.
They'll have to decide soon as filming begins in March and it's scheduled to come out in theatres about a year from now. This news makes me sooooo happy; just as I was to learn Tom Hooper, the director has chosen NOT to film my favorite musical in 3D.
I love how it's shaping up: Hugh Jackman as Valjean, Russell (he was in a band so I guess he can sing) Crowe, Ann (needs a hit) Hathaway and now Sascha Baron Cohen. Anyone else as excited as I am?
