Don't forget the Golden Globes are on tonight - 8pm on NBC! Since both The Descendants and The Help are tied for second- most nominations (one behind the current darling The Artist) it seems like a good time to post this link to an article about Kathryn Stockett in Atlanta's Creative Loafing online magazine. Kind of controversial!
I am torn about what to read next and would love a recommendation. I read - and enjoyed - the 75 page sample of Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides but since I just finished The Marriage Plot I'm sort of interested in reading a different writer. But who? Which book? There are so many!
It looks like Shirley MacLaine is back! She's in talks to do the Ben Stiller remake of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Ben Stiller is going to both star and direct in this remake of the 1947 Danny Kaye film based on the James Thurber short story.
