I've been making it a Sunday habit to post The Hollywood Reporter's series of roundtables. The magazine gathers likely award contenders for fairly in-depth discussions of their craft.
Clocking in at just under an hour each we've looked at the actors, the 'actresses', the cinematographers and where it all begins, the writers. Today I've got the directors including bookish movie fan favorites Ben Stiller for The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Steve McQueen for 12 Years A Slave, as well as Paul Greengrass for Captain Phillips, Lee Daniels for The Butler, David O. Russell, American Hustle, Alfonso Cuaron for Gravity. With apologies for lack of commentary from me, at least today ... but watch Ben Stiller; I can't lose the feeling he's a bit awkward about being in the company of these guys.
