We learned back in February that Saoirse Ronan has been attached to star in On Chesil Beach. While there’s still no word on who should play Edward—we’ve got a few suggestions—I found this short Hudson River film about the book I thought you’d enjoy.

It features Ian McEwan (looking remarkably like Scott Glenn in the photo above) reading from the text with is velvety-rich Welsh accent. I could listen to it all day ... especially on a Slacker Sunday.
