Disobedience starring Rachel McAdams and Rachel Weisz: Anatomy of a Scene #book2movie

I’m so intrigued to see Disobedience, the new film starring Rachel Weisz and Rachel McAdams, set primarily in the Jewish Orthodox community in London. 

The film is based on the book by Naomi Alderman which deals with two young women, former lovers, one who stayed in the community and repressed her sexuality, the other who walked away and left it behind. In the New York Times Anatomy of a Scene below, the film’s director talks about that dichotomy, that he sees the two women as two parts of the same person. Take a look and see what you think.
